Today's Assignments
Exploratory: No homework! Students have been working on "positive thinking" posters to help motivate students to do their best. They will be hanging in the hallways soon!
Math: Multiplication Patterns worksheet and finish answering their multiplication flashcards. Students are beginning chapter 2 dealing with multiplication of whole numbers and decimals. Each students has his/her own set of flashcards. Please have your child practice his/her cards daily at home. This will help them in the long run.
Social Studies: D.O.G Questions 7-7 and 7-8. Finish creating and coloring their "kachina" doll. They need to be glued onto a piece of cardboard (cereal box, etc.) so they can be sturdy. Students are learning about the Hopi Native American tribe and their ways of life. This group believed in over 250 spirits. Students were asked to design their own spirit. Be creative.
Wear your favorite team clothing tomorrow for homecoming!
